So... I've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time, ironically enough I just didn't have time to do so. Also, had absolutely no idea what I would be writing about. I however find it appropriate to start it all off by sharing a little about myself and also my expectations of this blog.
I'm 21 years old. I'm in my second year of studying Industrial Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch. I'm a Christian, I believe that the Almighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, I believe that He sent His Son to die on the cross for all our sins, so that we one day may be reunited with Him in Heaven.
My life practically revolves around music, without it I think I would have gone insane a very long time ago! My current favourite band is Katatonia, a doom-metal band. They're awesome! I mainly listen to heavier music such as metal, but have a rather large variety of music which I enjoy. I feel that people who choose to stick to merely one genre are doing themselves in, in the process. There is so much talent in the different genre's that the music industry offers us! Get out there and listen to some new music! Versatility is the way of the future!
I play guitar on my beautiful PRS SE Singlecut. I like to see myself as more of a lead guitarist but again, versatility is the way! ;) I would still like to learn jazz guitar and at some point I would love to learn how to play piano!
As for this blog, as the name kind of states "all that", I plan to be writing about various topics. Anything from music, music reviews all the way to some more controversial/serious topics which will hopefully get you thinking. I'm sure that at some point in time I will narrow it down to one specific topic, but for the moment I have some things I would like to say and I were to start a blog for them all, well I might just flood the internet! :)
So I sincerely hope that in the next few weeks I will be able to post my first actual blog and that you will enjoy reading my posts.
